Meet Our Staff

Rev. Carl Tuisku has served the Bethel community since 1991.  Pastor Carl's interests include the Oakland A's, Disneyland, alpine skiing, reading and talking history, and the Grateful Dead.  A naturally laid-back leader, one of Pastor Carl's greatest strengths is his willingness to develop and support the gifts and talents of Bethel's members of all ages.

Lisa Herlocker is our Director of Youth & Family Ministry.  She is embarrassed that her job title is so long and likes to spend her free time reading history books in the sun, hanging out with her family, and wishing she could travel far and wide, but being content to make annual trips to Disneyland.

Music Staff

Charlotte Edmonds is our talented pianist and the director of our vocal group, Gentle Praise.  

Corey Nitschke is our guitarist and in his free time the lead singer for area band, The Broken.

Additional Bethel Staff includes our Office Manager, Sandy Wolpert and our Wedding Coordinator, Lisa Kaufman-Chan.
